Purchasers of William Fugate's possessions included Zachariah Fugate, Martin Fugate, Jrnr. (this would have been William's son, Martin, two or three years younger than Zachariah's son Martin, both of whom lived in Russell Co, at the time - hence "Sr. & Jr.") Isaac Tate, John Williams, William Hullan, Henry Head, James McKinney, Joh Fugate, Benjamin Fugate, James Hendricks, William Fugate, James Overton, Martin, Junr. purchased his father's clothing and one of the Bibles counted among the books. Zachariah purchased another of the Bibles, 5 spoons, 4 basins, 6 plates and 1 dish among other things, and Benjamin purchased 6 plates and one bed. John Fugate purchased the sorrel filley, Benjamin the gray mare. As can be seen, the slae breaks down the items of "pewter" and some of the books to guve us more information.

Apparently William had enough eating utensiles for 5, perhaps 6 people The sale list also indicates three beds, purchased by John Williams, James Overton and Benjamin Fugate. His family, to the best of my reckoning, consisted (in addition to his wife) of: Martin about 20, Levi about 15 & William about 10, Zachariah about 8 and Julia about 4.
