Law-Young Wedding Held On June 12 Miss Lorraine M. Young became the bride of Mr. Ralph H. Law, son of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Law of Cleveland. The bride is "the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester L. Young of Redding Street. Canon Clinton R. Jones performed the double ring candlelight ceremony in Christ Church Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The organist was Miss Shelley T.' Gilbert. White bouquets decorated the altar and pew markers of satin ribbons lined the aisle. Miss Katherine E. Taylor of Cumberland St. was maid of honor for the bride. Chosen as bridesmaids were Mrs. V. G. Sur-del of Rockville and Miss Susan M. Somogyi of Cleveland. Best man was Mr. Joseph R. Clonick of Chicago, 111., and the ushers were Mr. Kenneth C. Voting of Hartford and Mr. Aaron Ballonoff of Cleveland. The bride's embroidered Swiss organdy gown was fashioned with a square embroidered neckline, a short sleeved fitted bodice, and a bouffant skirt of embroidered tiered organdy. Her fingertip-length tulle veil was attached to a cap of organdy and seed pearls, and she carried a semi-cascade- of white orchids and stephanoiis. She was given in marriage by her father. The attendants wore dresses of blue taffeta and white nylon, designed with square necklines, short sleeves and a large bow at the back of the bouffant skirts. Their headpieces were of tiny blue flowers and seed pearls finished with short veils, their bouquets were of pink roses. Following a reception in the parish house of the Cathedral the coinple left for Northwestern University, the bride traveling in a willow green silk suit with beige accessories. |
