CANTON George Bennett Saunders, 57, of 260 East Hill Road, died, Thursday at Newington . . Veterans' Administration Hospital after a long illness. . Born, in New Haven, he lived 13 years in Avon before moving here in 1959. He was a foreman for .15. years with Sealtest Corp. and has been a salesman for Thomas C. Dyer Inc. of Collins-ville for the past three years. He was. an Army World War II veteran, serving in the Medical Corps. He was a member and past master of Village Lodge 34, AF&AM, the Farmington Hunt Club and a past patron of Ruby Chapter 36, OES. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lucy Hustea Saunders ot (janton, a Dale B. Saunders of Can ton; a daughter, Miss Sharon Saunders of Canton; a brother, Emerson B. Saunders of South-wick, Mass. ; a sister, Mrs. Theodore Novickl of Westville (Danbury). The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, Albany Turnpike, Can ton, with the Rev. Stephen Parker officiating. Burial will be in Dyer Cemetery, Canton. Calling hours are today and Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a Masonic service Sunday at 8 p.m. at .the funeral home.
