    • Ruth Back Landrum, age 79 of Noctor, KY passed away Monday, January 28, 2002 due to a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Wayne and Betty Mullins Back and the widow of Uriah Landrum. She was a member of the Victory Tabenacle Church.
      Survivors include six daughters, Reva and husband Paul Watkins of Wolverine, KY, Dovie and husband Haven Fugate of Noctor, KY, Laverna and husband Raymond Watkins of Noctor, KY, Martha and husband Charles Turner of Jackson, Nadine and husband David Back of Campton, KY, and Alice and husband David Carpenter of Noctor, KY; five sons, Raymond and wife Sue Landrum of Jackson, Artus and wife Robin Landrum of Seelyville, IN, Luther and wife Jean Landrum of Noctor, KY, Kermit and wife Eva Landrum of Noctor, KY, and Billy and wife Addie Landrum of Noctor, KY; three sisters, Jossie Fugate of Wilstacy, KY, Florence Osborne and Hattie Mae Prater both of Jackson, 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be Thursday, January 31, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leonard Carpenter and Rev. Gordon Little Officiating. There will be additional services Wednesday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Landrum Cementery located at Noctor, KY.
      Deaton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
