	Bobbie Jean Roberts, age 85, was born on a farm in Breathitt County, Kentucky to Tyman and Samuel Smith. When she was a young girl, her father died in a railroad accident and her mother moved the family to Northern Kentucky. In 1949, she married Donald Roberts, who became long-time Florence Fire Chief, and they had a long happy marriage of 55 years. She lived over 60 years on New Uri Avenue, surrounded by wonderful neighbors who were life-long friends. Bobbie especially enjoyed her church work at Grace Episcopal, camping at state parks with friends, and spending time with her granddaughter, Logan. Two years ago, she moved to Colonial Gardens, where she received loving care and made many new friends. She was preceded in death by her son Scott, her husband Donald, her sister Juanita, and her brother Paul. She is survived by her son Randall Roberts (Barbara Wade), her granddaughter Logan Roberts, and her sister Nellie Ward. Service Thursday, January 15, 2015 10:00 AM Grace Episcopal Church
