    Jacob Flinchum, 86 years old, one of Jackson's oldest citizens, died at his home on Town Branch Sunday, January 1. Death was due to complications of old age. Services were held at the King's Branch cemetery, Monday afternoon, burial following in the family lot.

    Mr. Flinchum is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jack Walk, and a number of other relatives.

    W.E. Blake, undertaker of this city, had charge of funeral arrangements.
